I agree with Peter. Just go for it. And if it helps think of people like me at the same time. I wish I had some sort of ball hitting skills, however I have still managed to enjoy many a day out on the course- There is no way you will be playing as bad as me. I used to be involved in corporate golf days which I found to be a great deal of fun. The guys I teamed up with quite often gave up trying to teach me and instead used to say - just carry the ball - I'd take about 20 swings to just hit the little sod of a thing - just want to know why they still make those balls so small!

So once again just get those sticks (sorry should say clubs..) and enjoy.

Regards,

Alana - Western Australia

N.B. yes, I am probably every golfers nightmare but I have been invited back again and again.....

hi alana i do not believe that you are golfers nightmare mate especially if they have always asked you back again and again -you must be pretty good hitting them balls around the place or finding the holes\\\i have only played once i went at 5 or 6 am in the morning many years ago [ i went with friends \\\\\ so as not to hold anybody up ]]]] i had 6 balls i lost all six balls before i got to the first hole but i was lucky i found some other balls that someone else had lost which enabled me to keep playing so that was my introduction to golf i was a dead loss i got around to the 9th hole and packed up my feet were soaking wet from the dew on the grass being early in the morning ive never played since \\ peter jones queensland australia regards to john\\\\\\ psp sufferer

I play using my golf cart to get as close as possible to the tee and green. When I walk, I use the club like a cane. The putter has a suction cup on the end to retrieve the ball from the cup. To setup, I plant both feet very firmly, then set my hands, the takeaway has to be real slow to maintain my balance but the swing and follow through feel normal (but weaker). I've lost a lot of distance and I shank and duff a lot more balls than I used to, but I am still playing. If fatigue happens, I just play a few holes. I can't play two days in a row without becoming extremely fatigued. Just go for it....other golfers will understand and give you support, believe me....Bill Hall

I'm doing great, Peter. I'm amazed that I maintain balance as well as I do. I've only had two falls, one was from the withdrawal of RequipXL before I was diagnosed, and once from my stupidity when I tried to climb a small hill (fell backwards). Cheers from the hills of Tennessee in the good ole USA. Bill Hall
