My husband has had lots of stomach problems, has had every test in the book. The tests all come back fine. Now he is having episodes of severe stomach pain. Is it possible it's related to the PSP?

Did the Doctor or Doctors who adminstred the test and provided the results, ever suggest they're might be inflammation in the lining due to one or meds he's taking?
Constipation can definately do it too.
I went thru a period in the early part of 2012 of much stomach pain which I didn't understand; this was pre PSP diagnosis. I had an Upper GI Feb of '12 in which they found 5 areas of 'erosions' in the lining of my stomach. The reason for that is I took NSAIDS every day for about 10 years (over the counter anti-inflammatories like Ibuprofen/Alleve) for severe arthritis; he said no more NSAIDS beginning that day.
Does he still have a gall bladder? I believe they found so much in my stomach, they didn't feel they needed to look elsewhere. After stopping the NCAIDS, my symptoms got worse, & had an unexpected gallbladder surgery a few weeks later.
Tho I just passed a swallow test a few weeks ago, my Doc wants me to have another Upper GI because my tummy doesn't feel right again, but mostly because I'm aspirating somewhere further into my esophogus & close to the stomach entrance.
And hiccups. Holy moly. They've never been a problem for me but just suddenly starting the past 2 months. Everyday; sometimes multiple times a day. One prolonged episode starting at the beginning of main meal, or starting during my main meal, or immediately after my main meal. Not too worried about it; more a nuisance than anything, but have a hunch it might be connected.
If nothing else, and your health care system allows for it, I'd suggest a second opinion, for sure. Severe stomach pain, with or without isn't 'normal'.
Hope this helps.

My wife was having stomach pains this morning (first time) but she had a bowel movement and the pain went away. Could it be a bowel issue with your husband. Constipation is listed as one side effect of PSP.
