No real news yet. That’s my biggest concern so far (pretty sure more to come) . As I’ve said before, I first became aware of a problem in an annual physical in mid-November. Now 3 months later and I’m STILL waiting for a biopsy on March 5th! I live in a big city (San Diego) with great medical facilities. So my only news is a potential symptom that comes and goes (some “burning” between anus and penis when I need to pee, not burning while peeing, good flow and emptying). My question is it typical to have a 3.5 month wait to get to a biopsy (maybe even 4 mos to the biopsy results….much more to treatment ) ???? I’ve been told it grows slowly in all forms, but this seems negligent to me. ???

STILL WAITING
Is this at UCSD?
The biopsy scheduled in March is per my original urologist at a company called Genesis and I decided to move on as soon as I saw where this was headed. But I kept the earliest biopsy date they could give me while I wait for an appt with a Dr. Konijeti (highly recommended) at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla (scheduled for this Thursday). I will see how soon they can do biopsy then do whatever comes first. Seems like a long damn time since November. Fortunately my PSA seems to have stabilized at 6.8.
It's not bad enough that the fear/anxiety of PCa is taking its toll. Now you have to wait for a biopsy?? For whatever it's worth, mine - at Hopkins - were scheduled and performed within two wks. And, yes, agree with TA re transperineal.
Good luck to you,
