6 month PSA measurement

Hi !

I thought that I could share some good news.

I’ve had my PSA result; 6 month PSA measurement after radiation (with ongoing Orgovyx and Abi) and it was < 0.1 again (in Sweden and Finland they don’t do ultrasensitive PSA).

Well, anyway I wanted to share good news with all fantastic members in this forum.

Best wishes - Ulf

Hi !

Thanks a lot. From the Bio I understand you’re also a locally advanced with lymph node involvement but your MO / medical team seems to be on top of it and is giving you a treatment with curative intent; radiation, ADT longterm (i suppose) and Abiraterone longterm (aswell I suppose) and I think with that treatment you will kicking the prostate cancer beast into submission and hopefully kill it off.

Anyway, thanks and keep fighting and best of luck :)

Thanks. Yes that is my treatment plan. I am currently iff of the Abi due to high liver enzymes. But i will be back on it in a few weeks when things return to normal. I have one more week of radiation after today(Friday). Thanks!

Hi !

Sounds like a solid plan and even better that you hopefully can resumé Abiraterone and Prednisolone as well.

Seems you went into the radiation with a good PSA respons 0.14 and that’s very good

Anyway, hopefully you get a really good respons and kicks ’the ass of the prostate cancer beast’ :) Of course it’s stressful to wait for the PSA test 3 months after radiation but I have a good feeling already when going in with a good low PSA result into the radiation.

Fingers and toes crossed my friend :)

Hi !

Thanks and after reading your Bio you seem to be on a very good track yourself and that’s fantastic. Always nice to see success stories and you seem to be one of them :)

Right on, Ulf! Oct 8 PSA remains at <0.01, and doc says we can get labs every 6 months (vs every 3 months). And my next doctor visit isn’t until October 2025.

Hi !

Sounds like a very good prognosis anyway. I’ve been stressed out and anxious waiting 3 months so 6 months for me, in the beginning after changes in treatment, would have stressed me out completely. Ok, well as long as you have regular checkups and they show up fine I could also live with minimal doctors appointments :)

Best wishes - Ulf
