After RALP, BCR, salvage radiation and now PSA >0.02 for almost 3 years now, I am having a minor surgery removing a cyst from my upper back. They are planning on using "twilight" anesthesia since harder to do local on the back. Have had a couple removed from chest, arm, with local and all fine. As we age, harder to recover from anesthesia and someone recommended a glutathione IV before so body clears it better. However, I am not sure that taking a strong antioxidant like glutathione won't wake up or help any cells still in my body to grow. I have searched online and used Perplexity but cannot find an answer. Anyone here run into something like this before? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I would be more concerned about the glutamate component of gluthatione, which is a known stimulator of PC. I would use NAC instead, which is a precursor of gluthatione and has some inhibitory effect on PC pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/235...
You can also use more “neutral” extracts for liver detox (milk thistle, artichoke etc). Sulforaphanes (broccoli sprouts) are also good as an alternative to gluthatione pathway of detoxification.
Infrared sauna is great for detox. And you have a Hocatt near you, that would be the best option (in my opinion)
