Will discuss with doctor anyway but has anyone taken ED meds to maintain erectile function when diagnosed with paroxysmal afib.I've no other comorbidities

P.S. my afib is low burden with very few episodes.

Maybe a query to post in the AF forum also

Hey, pd63,

Yes to your question about ED meds and afib. Me: treated with radiation/brachy/ADT at 69 yrs for GS 7 PCa. Was in a study that included 60mgs of Sildenafil 3 times/wk. Was also dx with afib and aflutter many yrs ago; mine tends to occur at night and I have had very few episodes during waking hours over the years. Have discussed with urologists, cardiologists, and primary care docs. No cautions ever given. So, I assume, not considered an issue. I also assume that the severity of your afib and its frequency and interaction with ED meds might result in a different answer. It's a conversation to be had.

Good luck to you,

EdinBaltimore
