Does anyone have experience with Prostate Cancer doctors at MD Anderson in Houston? I'm trying to find an experienced physician in SBRT or Focal Cryotherapy. Thank you in advance!

I was about to ask same question in regard to MRI Guided SBRT at MD Anderson Houston. MRI Guided SBRT not offered at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson. They only have CT-Guided. I didn't look into Focal Cryotherapy. I meet with my Urologist tomorrow discuss latest biopsy results.

Good luck with your appointment tomorrow!

I'm not sure what MD Anderson in Houston uses to "guide" MRI or CT, but I'm trying to find out!

I don't know that they give them there. I know you can get SBRT at UTSW in Dallas- Neil Desai.

Don't do focal cryo - it doesn't work.

Dr Osama Mohamad Radiation Oncologist. He is incredible and truly cares. He was Jim's RO at UCSF and moved this year to MD Anderson Houston. Broke my heart, he went above and beyond. Anyway, highly recommend.

I used Steven Frank at MD Anderson and would recommend. We discussed several options but by the time I went to him, I had already decided on LDR brachytherapy for personal situation and 3+4 PC.
