Looking for an Online Community for Heart Disease

Hello everyone,

I have been a part of this Health Unlocked Prostate Cancer Community for some time and I must say it's an amazing place with immense support, knowledge, and understanding. I truly appreciate the conversations and advice that everyone here offers.

Recently, I was diagnosed with coronary artery disease, in addition to my ongoing journey with prostate cancer. I have found this forum so beneficial for navigating my prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment that I'm now seeking a similar community focused on heart disease.

Does anyone here know of an online support community for heart disease that they can recommend?

Having both conditions definitely presents its challenges, but I remain optimistic and am eager to learn more from individuals who have walked a similar path. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have.

There are both public and private groups on FB/Meta. Some large, some small, you'd need to do some footwork. You might have to kiss a frog, but there is bound to be one that would help.

Give Inspire a try. They do have one group for Heart Bypass but did not dig in to the posts to see if they also discussed CAD, which is reason for bypass. They also have a Vascular group, but that might be more for all the other artery issues.
