My brother was diagnosed with Gleason 4 + 3 about 6 years ago at the age of 55.
He had ADT treatment and Radiation
His last PSA measurements have been
.31 March 2022
.52
.43
The one before March 2022 was more than .31
What do you think? Normal bounce or a concern?
I personally wouldn't be worried with that # and that trend. I passed .5 by so quick in my recurrence I never even saw it.
He will always have some PSA. A biochemical recurrence is suspected when PSA reaches 2.3
When did he finish the ADT? From what I've gleaned - the "bounce" can occur 12-36 months after discontinuing ADT (if your testosterone recovers..)
My 22 month psa after radiation treatment (SBRT) is 1.25. What should my nadir be? Less than 0.5?
