low urine stream

I’m 12 weeks out or prostatectomy. I’m still experiencing a low urine stream. Not incontinent but difficulty voiding.

Is this typical or unusual this far out?

The anastomosis (the place where your urethra was cut and sewn back together) may have swollen shut. Let your urologist know. If you can't empty your bladder, go to the ER right away. A burst bladder can be life-threatening.

+1 ! I had a partial stricture months after my prostatectomy, and needed a dilation (under sedation, fortunately) to empty my bladder. I've been self-cathing, intermittently, ever since.

I don't have any direct advice on this particular issue except to advise that you see your healthcare professional. Avoid responders here who claim to know all and commit the fraud of offering medical opinion based on personal opinion and NOT on any medical training/degree. There is one in particular who constantly trolls this site. Best wishes.
