im currently 11 into adt with zolodex injection every 3 months. Some side effects but nothing to concern me except high blood pressure. I run and exercise regulary. Half marathon last sunday and another this coming sunday. Doctor suggested i am borderline for statins and obviously there are side effects from that. Plus it is then a long term medication. Anybody else with a similar problem or have any solutions? Ìm not really overweight and do not drink much.
Thanks.

I was on Zoladex as well, and my usually low-normal blood pressure crept up throughout the two-year period I was on the drug. My usual 110/65 rose to about 160/85, and sometimes higher. Fortunately, after ADT, my blood pressure slowly declined to its usual level. I wonder if the temporary hypertension triggered the daily, right-sided headaches I suffered throughout much of the period. It took about a year post-ADT for most of my side effects to go away including the hypertension. Hypertension and headaches were among the many side effects I experienced that were not emphasized by my providers going into therapy. The lesson is that everyone is different, and ADT's effects are wide ranging. Take the list of side effects with a grain of salt. It is not all-inclusive.
