I did a search for this test and read the posts, but thought I would also ask the question.
Has anyone else done this test and what are your thoughts on this test identifying CTC's and the information that you get? This particular test is $800.
Also, there's a question of how fast the blood sample needs to be sent to Greece before the blood is no longer useful?

There was an identical discussion here one month ago:
Mine was done in Toronto and the blood work went to Greece the same day.
There are a few costs to consider.
The initial one will cost MORE than further tests. Mine was about $ 4 K and I was told that further annual testing would be about $ 1 K (Cdn). Further annual testing can be an advantage because you have a baseline you can compare to. In other words - what is my current status, in terms of CTCs and other factors that were previously measured. Was their any success in your treatment(s) (would be a logical extention to justify testing in the first place).
Clearly, not everyone would even consider RGCC.
They did an extensive report which identified certain conventional (think docetaxel and other SOC drugs) treatment OPTIONS and certain know 'supplements or extractions' (think Quercetin) that had been studied in their own clinical trials.
A Statistical value corresponded with the 'entities' that were documented.
CTCs was the main reason for the testing in the first place. That is the target they are looking at.
Some will call it BS / quackery - others an ally in their fight against the disease.
To each his own, but in my books - I don't regret it for a minute.
In addition, MOST MOs won't consider the results because they didn't originate the request(s) and they don't want their patients doing their own thing ....
I haven't had a second (follow up) test, but my recent BCR might be a factor for another ...
