Last Tuesday I had the marker put in for radiation prep. it was very painful. This coming Tuesday I will have the simulation preparation treatment to make sure all is well for upcoming radiation treatments. As mentioned before I've had alot of trouble with HOT FLASHES so they have ordered me some meds namely VENLAFAXINE TAB 37.5MG! Anyone used this med for hot flashes before? If so any input about its use and potential issues? Thanks Gregor

I am on venlafaxine 75mg. It has minimized my hot flashes, but I still get a few a day. They seem to hit after exercise, or after I eat. However, they are way less frequent than before I added the med.
