Robotic assisted prostatectomy was 10 days ago. Pathology came back clean. Not incontinent, surprising erectile function, feeling confident about recovery.
Catheter came out 3 days ago. I’ve gone from depends to a pad to deal with occasional leaking. Yesterday and this AM I had a few occasions of bleeding at the very end of the urination stream. That is, clear urine, followed by a few drops of blood.
Is this normal?
Also what can I do to hasten the reduction of abdominal swelling?

My experience is not compatible with your description.
Two kinds of blood/bleeding:
1) Old coagulated blood, dark brown to black in colour. Urologist said a good thing as body was throwing away debris from the procedure. The more the better, his words.
2) Fresh blood dispersed into urine giving it a pink to light redish hue depending on the amount of the latter. It originated from the anastomosis that took more than usual time to heal. Urologist said don't worry, the cyst is the most friendly and forgiving organ in our body. Fresh blood is an indication of new tissue formation being under way.
Two cases not good:
a) Catheter removal before complete anastomosis healing. Did you have a cystography (X-ray) to verify tightness before catheter removal?
b) Long shot, blood coming from the kidneys.
Abdominal swelling: walk around as much as you can. If you aren't pooping regularly take a stool softener like Dulcolax.
Call your doctor or nurse. Probably nothing but they can tell you for sure.
All sounds great, congrats on no positive surgical margins! Check with the doc on the bleeding.. likely nothing serious.

Congratulations on your great result! I would call the surgeon about the abdominal swelling. In my case, I had a ton of lymph fluid collecting that had to be drained. Catch it before it gets uncomfortable (that is, learn from my mistake!).
Seven days to catheter removal sounds a little early, with 10-14 being safer from my information. You should have had a cystogram before removal. Did you? It is important to make sure healing is sufficient for removal. Good luck. The abdominal swelling should naturally go down. You're only 10 days out and you seem to be doing great. Well done.
Is 0.012(3months post op) PSA to 0.024 after 6 months a significant rise?
