Hello,
I’m new to this group. I hope to be able to lend a helping perspective to anyone who perhaps has been in my shoes. I also want learn and hope to be inspired by participating in this group. I’m 59, diagnosed with Gleason 6 eight months ago after initial TRUS biopsy, had MRI last month which shows a suspicious Pirads 4 lesion. Urologist I’m seeing will be doing a MRI fusion biopsy in August to rule out the Pirads 4 is not a higher grade cancer. I can’t wait to get this biopsy over with as I feel it will be a huge step forward and hopefully load off shoulders. I would love to hear from anyone who knows of cases where these Pirads 4 do not turn out to be Gleason 7 or higher. It’s my hope. Thanks for reading.
