Massage to loosen painful scar tissue

Someone recently mentioned having significant pain due to residual scar tissue following prostatectomy surgery. Seek out a massage therapist offering myofascial release or deep tissue massage which can breakup scar tissue anywhere in the body. My daughter used to perform this type of massage on post-op breast cancer patients to release painful scar tissue "tangles."
