advise please

hi, im currently 6 weeks pregnant and have been to the doctor this morning as i have had some bleeding im booked in for a scan saturday as i had a miscarriage in feb this year. I have been having aches but thought this was normal. is it normal ? im so scared i dont know if i can go thru another miscarriage.

Hi I have just been through a similar thing. Bleeding etc scan yesterday and saw baby's heart beating away! Bleeding can happen in pregnancy this is baby number 3 and bled every time! Yet had a miscarriage in 2007 and no bleeding atall? Good luck x x

Try not to worry. I know that's easier said than done!

Any bleed is scary during pregnancy, particularly following a miscarriage. But bleeds can also be common during pregnancies which go full term and result in healthy babies. Aches in the tummy can also be part of a healthy, successful pregnancy.

So hang in there, try to to stress too much, and wait to see what the scan shows.

Thank you so much I'm trying to stay positive I have my first midwife appt this morning and I'm booked in for an early scan tomo so fingers crossed xxx

hey ok so my update after my scan today they think im 4-5 weeks as they found a sack attached to my wall but couldnt find a baby so im going back a week on monday to re scan but they have reassured me that everything looks normal and ho it should at this early stage ! were still not out of the woods but feeling more positive fingers crossed and lots of rest for me xxx
