I'm seven weeks late and starting to panic.... advise please....

I am seven weeks late, however i do have PCOS, this has affected my periods in the past, i have gone 9 months before with nothing, however i took advice from the doctor, lost weight and my periods have been on time every month with the exception of june which was a week late and the last one i had, are there any other women out there with PCOS who can advise me?, I also have the weirdest feelings, i no longer like smoking, and want to drink water athough this could be in my head, feeling bloated and waking up in the night for a wee which i never do... i am going to take a test but dont want to do this alone....CONFUSED.COM

Definitely take the test. The peace of mind will be worth it, one way or the other. Is there someone you trust who can be with you when you take the test? Friend, family member? It can be a scary couple of minutes, I know. But I figure it's like a band aid - better off doing it quickly - the longer you take, the worse it feels
