18 wks sharp pain in upper left ribs

Hi can anyone tell me if you have experienced pain in the left rib area this early on as I’ve read that it’s more common with in the third trimester. Had a scan to rule out gallbladder and other bits of anatomy looked ok. Mentioned this to the midwife and she told me I can take paracetamol if I need to and whilst it helps a little, it is still hurting. Went back to the midwife and she said it could be stretching pain or might have nothing to do with pregnancy. Not really helpful as not sure where to turn for help. So wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found a solution? Thanks x

Have you had your blood pressure checked? It could be a sign of high blood pressure. I had this later on pain wise and it was due to the babies positioning he was in my rib. Not sure either help but hopefully it rectifies soon

Thanks I did and it’s normal. Too early for it to be the baby so will try and get an appointment with the GP this morning for further investigations 🤞🏽
