My midwife seems very relaxed & said only to worry at 24 weeks!! Well I am worried as my previous 2 pregnancies were very active. Has anyone else experienced this & what did you do? Thanks

I'm 18 wks pregnant with number 3 child & haven't really felt any movement apart from pressure on my tummy.
Hi,
Im currently 18+ wks in my 2nd pregnancy & haven't really felt any definate movement yet. Im not too worried about it as, apart from some weird eating habits ive develop i havent had any complications or worries.
Were your last 2 pregnancies the same gender ? its possible this baby could just be more relaxed & has also got alot more room to move around in the womb " for now"
Hiya mumofboys, I am pregnant with my 3rd, I have got 2 boys already. I am 21 weeks tomorrow. I never felt movement till 19weeks+. I amd not getting alot of movement now either. I feel the odd squiggle sometimes in the morning then nothing all day until the next morning. I had not felt anything over the past 2 days neither could I pick a heartbeat up on my doppler. I had a meeting at the hospital today and I just mentioned it to the midwife and she took me into a treatment room and used there doppler and picked it up straight away. They said they dont monitor any baby movements till 26w for the simple fact as they are so irregular. Maybe your placenta is lying across your front which is stopping you feel any movements. I bought a doppler I did as was so paranoid that I couldn't feel movement.
Thanks for the advice I think I may have been getting slightly paranoid too early! Perhaps this one is pink & doesn't move as much as my footballing boys did!!
That would be nice! Its quite nice to see a Lil sister of a family dominating to her older brothers.
I'm 20 weeks today and only since yesterday have I been convinced the feelings are my baby and not just wind!! It's my second so you'd think I'd know what it feels like but I couldn't really remember as I was never convinced with my first until I got proper kicks!
Yeah, totally don't worry!! My placenta is posterior (at the front) so as such I didn't feel movement until MUCH later, but she's right in that there's nothing to be concerned about for a good number of weeks yet xx
