my period was only about a week late when I took this specific test but I took two and this is the second one I took the next morning. The first one was just negative and I took it fairly late that evening then proceeded to double check and follow up the next morning to get this result ? Just curious and looking for opinions on if it’s just an invalid read or what does this necessarily mean?

my period is now 2 weeks late an I don’t have the funds currently to go out and get more tests.

If this photo is outside of the test time frame, you can't give a valid outcome because outside the test time it could be an evaporation line. If you're two weeks late and the test isn't coming up straight away then your period is probably late for something other than pregnancy.

I was thinking it could have been an evap line but I’ve only incountered that once an it didn’t have any color to it what so ever.

Personally when would be the best time frame to test again when doing so? Is it Commonly 2 weeks after a missed period? I always thought it was accurate results after the first day of a missed period.

Shows how much I know though. 🤦🏻‍♀️🫤

A test will be accurate from the day of your missed period an early test will give you a result a week before your period. Two weeks after you would expect a test to trigger immediately, if this test didn't have a result within the time frame then it needs to be discarded.The best time to take a test is the first thing in the morning when your urine is more concentrate and your hormone level will be higher.
