my period was due on the 29th of October but it didn’t come.

I took a pregnancy test on the 4th but it said negative.

And now, I’m experiencing pink to brown discharge as of today. It hasn’t gotten any heavier than my normal period, so is this considered IB or just a late period?

Sounds like the start of your period, especially if you've had a negative pregnancy test. Maybe take another test to confirm.
