A midwife gave a call to me and booked in for blood tests and finalised my midwife. All went well so far.
I received another call within 2 minutes and the midwife told that I will be sent to a different center for blood work and midwife related matters, because I have Asian ethnicity.
I was not comfortable with the idea. Why different maternity center (something called NEST) for different ethnicity?
How was your experience with NEST, if any?

I've not heard of NEST, whereabout are you based as different trusts can have different ways of doing things? I know that there is a push within the NHS to provide better maternity care to the BAME community. So perhaps the Nest place can offer you better support during your pregnancy. england.nhs.uk/2020/06/nhs-...
You are an amazing person Seb9. The link was very helpful and answered all my questions. It is in line with the information provided by the midwife over the phone call. Thank you so so much.
