I am 9 weeks now and waiting for first meeting with midwife.
I am not taking any prenatal vitamins supplements so far, because I don’t know which one to take. Would you suggest to get over the counter supplements before meeting the midwife?
Please help me with this. I am constantly worried that I am not providing enough nutrition to my unborn baby.

Any prenatal vitamins are fine, I used the ASDA ones, you don't really need prenatal vitamins you only really need to take folic acid and vitamin D, if you already have a fairly healthy diet.
I use a brand called Therra Nova. They’re a very ‘clean’ brand as in they don’t have any unnecessary fillers, colours etc. They are more expensive than other brands but they are packed with the essentials and other goodies. I decided to avoid any brands that use titanium dioxide which are in a lot of supplements including prenatals as it’s has been shown to be a carcinogen (not trying to be controversial, just my personal preference!). Good luck with your pregnancy xxx
I had to go for an early scan, and the nurses there recommended I take Pregnacare Max as it has the folic acid, vitamin D, omega 3 and calcium. I started taking them as soon as I found out I was pregnant, and as of yet, have had no morning sickness. I don't know if these tablets have helped me with that, but I'm now 7+2 and feel great (long may it continue!). They are quite big though, so if you're not good with swallowing larger tablets, these might not be for you. x
