Hello Twobaby

There are various thoughts around AMH but really you should speak with a medical professional about it, your specific circumstances and therefore what the best option may be for you. It could indicate for example, that you have a low egg reserve. That does not mean that you can't get pregnant, just that it may take longer. I imagine your dr will refer you next to a fertility consultant to look at your egg reserve and make suggestions.

The best thing you can do is ensure that your eggs are tip top quality. That means eating a healthy diet and being fit. Being a little overweight does not mean that you don't eat well.

Try to reduce alcohol intake to a minimum, eat a healthy and balanced diet with lots of leafy greens and veg and do exercise. There is a book called "it starts with an egg" which has great hints, tips and advice. But at the same time you dont want to obsess over everything. That just causes stress.

Fingers crossed for you lovely. There are lots of ladies on here who have struggled. You may find the fertility network on here more around fertility related queries, this part of the site tends to have questions about babies and pregnancy which can be difficult to see when you are struggling to conceive in the first place. Xx

Hi hon. That must be really upsetting news and a lot to process right now. I would suggest joining the Fertility Network UK on this site- a lot of people there have been in a similar situation and might have more suggestions for you xxx

Go to the top of the page where it says 'my hub'. Click on it and there should be an option 'Find a community'. Click on that and in the search bar that appears look for 'Fertility Network UK'. It should be the first that appears - then just follow :)

Hi Twobaby

Firstly, try not to panic. You’re young and have time to try lots of things to help improve things naturally and with the support of professionals.

If it’s not suggested, seek a referral to a fertility specialist via your GP. A good dietician/nutritionist can also give advice on how to improve your fertility through food etc.

There’s also lots of info out there, so take your time to get informed. I had unexplained infertility issues and was told IVF was my only option. But I did a lot of research and changed the things I could to give myself the best chance. I’m now 33 weeks pregnant.
