Potty training

My son is 26 months. We have been potty training for 4 months. He is getting better at taking himself to the toilet and often let’s us know when he needs the toilet. He often has an accident once a day, however can go a few days dry. Is this ok or should you go back in nappies?

I think that's brilliant for 26 months, I think just ignore the odd accident, give lots of praise for telling you he needs to go and celebrate every potty wee.

That is really good definitely continue. I found when potty training my eldest it was a bit up and down and he’d do really well for a few days then another day he’d have a few accidents. But just be consistent he sounds ready.
