Was wondering if you lovely people could advise me with your wealth of experience! I have written previously how we had a tough 7.5 months with night wakings. Anything from every 2 hours to every 20 mins. Since then things have improved with one or 2 wakings and we have also had 5 nights where he has slept from 730 til 6, unbelievable a few months ago. Anyway after we started to relax about it all our LO has started waking anywhere between 2 and 5 and not settling. Will fall asleep on us but when put in the cot he wakes. We mostly end up starting the day after a couple of hours so this could be anywhere between 4 and 5. Wouldn't mind if he woke at 6. 6:30 or 7 ideally. Which he was doing when he got better.
Sometimes he is super squirmy. We have weaned him off breast milk and he seemed to be fine with it. We do not want to sleep train as it’s something we don’t feel is right for us given the fact our bubba is super strong willed and doesn’t seem to have the ability to calm down when crying and just escalates if he isn’t soothed.
Could this be 10 month regression as we seemed to have come through months 8 and 9 relatively unscathed other than teething. Is there a light at the end of this tunnel?
TIA

I would think he is very knowing of his cot now and knows when bed time is... Does he sleep during day after the hours of 2/3pm?? They call it the devil's nap
