Headaches

I keep having headaches on and off for the past 3 days, behind my eyes and in my forehead!

I’m 14 weeks pregnant, do you think that’s the reason why?

It’s stressing me out, I’m drinking plenty, but I seem to be sleeping more too like 12 hours a night!

Any advice would be great

Thanks

Is your blood pressure okay? It's most likely just your hormones going through so much change tbh x

Yeah I assume my blood pressure is okay.. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m pregnant as the hormones as you say!

Thanks for replying x

Hi Imogen,I’m also 14 weeks pregnant and if it’s any consolation I’m also getting headaches at times and they last a couple of days even when chugging water throughout the day. I resulted to taking one paracetamol the other evening and it cleared it right up x

Congratulations on your pregnancy :)

I don’t think it helps that o have anxiety so I overthink things way too much!

I’ve got the doctor ringing me later on this afternoon x

I’m also 14 weeks and some days I get this horrible headaches that last all day no matter what I do! I suppose it’s just related with the hormones going higher. My consolation is that it’s an on and off thing.

Hi

I had the same for about the first three months and i think it was just all the hormones and worrying about the baby plus tension in my back and shoulders. The smallest tight muscle can effect these areas. More stress worrying may be prolonging it. Paracetamol might help.

Id suggest find a good osteopath to see if they can loosen up any tight areas from the back, shoulders and neck. It helped me.

Have a look on you tube for neck and back stretches. Maybe Headspace app for relaxation.

Xxx

Thought I would just update everyone, spoke to the doctor.. who knows me, and he said basically it’s my anxiety and muscles In my head and neck, the more I worry the longer the headache stays. Hopefully now I’ve had some reassurance it’ll start to go :) x
