Hi mummies. My baby girl has been having frequent hiccups. Is it normal for this to happen. Any reason to worry about it and how do I stop or reduce it's frequency. It has happened up to 4 times today.

My little girl had the same. Babies get hic ups. They do gradually reduce the amount of times and length they last. My baby is 18weeks and really gets them now.

My baby had frequent hiccups and whenever I asked doctors or midwives etc about it they didn't seem concerned. Even when she was in my tummy I felt her hiccups! 🤣 She doesn't get them much now she's nearly 5 months. One midwife said try feeding to settle them which seems to help.
