I was supposed to be 10weeks and 2 days instead on the sona it shows 9weeks and 3 days, there is a heartbeat and we saw that the bean had hiccups. But I dont know if I should be worried about the difference of a week?
Has anyone experienced this and carried to term? I'm an over thinker and stress about everything.
Please help.

No there is no issue with things being a bit further back. Firstly ultrasounds are not 100% accurate, and you can never tell when exactly you ovulated or fertilized the egg. As long as there is a heart beat and he's keeps growing that is the important thing.
Thank you so much. I just have to wait 4 weeks now for the next sona to determine if baby is ok and everything is normal. But today's was also ok. Doing blood work tomorrow for down syndrome and then they will also confirm at the 13week sona. I'm in SA so we do things a bit differently here. I dont have a midwife. I go to my gp and she is such a darling that she does a sona at every visit. So she wasn't worried today. She says as long as I am puking my lungs out she is good, meaning that my hormones are increasing.. and I do have terrible morning (all day sickness)
Well don't get too alarmed when inausea settles tho as likely to.settle soon. Mine last 15w with my first 12 with my second and all gone by 9w with my third and current pregnancy. It's hard to relax, but the majority of pregnancies proceed with no issues with a healthy baby at the end.
This happened to me, I had a private scan so my partner could attend they said I was 9 weeks then I had my nhs dating scan and they said I was 10+6 but should have been 11+6 going from first scan, if that makes sense! I think in the early stages the baby is so small and depending on position it’s more of an educated guess then a 100% certainty xx
Hello, I was a week behind also. Went to my 12 week scan only to be told I was 11 weeks, so had to return the following week to have the correct checks carried out x
