Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is good for a baby up to 6 months, after that they dont take in as much nutrients and other things. At that point baby food will give them what they need, you can still breastfeed bc it will still give them what they need. Everyones choices are different, but as long as it makes you feel comfortable then you should do it.

Sorry but this post is not correct. Babies will not get enough nutrition from food at 6 months and need breastfeeding or formula as their main calorie intake till age 1.

Also you say you only need till 6m as they get their nutrients but you can continue as they will get nutrients. So which is it?

WHO and UNICEF recommend:

introduction of nutritionally-adequate and safe complementary (solid) foods at 6 months together with continued breastfeeding up to 2 years of age or beyond.

100% agree with you here, OP has posted some very inaccurate information, food is for fun until one, breast or formula are the main sources of nutrition until this point xx
