Itching in pregnancy

Hi, I'm 32 weeks pregnant . I have been having itching around the vagina and the inner thighs mostly at night. Have done the blood test and urine test. There's nothing wrong. Is there any over the counter medicine I can use externally just around the vagina and inner thighs which is safe?

You could try some sudacreme or vaseline and maybe take an antihistamines like Loratadine to see if that helps.

It might be worth seeing your GP as it could be something that needs proper medication though.

Just seen below that you've been diagnosed with Thrush so nothing I've suggested will work.

Your definitely best of with the antibiotics and maybe the cream for thrush too.

I've had it before and with medication it clears up really quickly, maybe also eat some natural yoghurt, my mum swears eating natural yoghurt keeps her thrush at bay.

Hi, your best asking your chemist for a thrush cream, I have just had this and was told it was thrush, they are safe to use in pregnancy as I was given it by doctor on maternity unit I’m 33 weeks now.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I just got a letter from hospital saying it's thrush too and It's better if I would take the 7 days course of antibiotics. Have an appointment booked with the GP tomorrow. I'm really scared as never had this before.
