Start of early labour?

Hi all,

I'm currently 36+2 and for the last 2-3 days I've had the constant urge to have a bowel movement. I've also been having a fair few braxton hicks contractions.

Could this be the start of early labour?

Possibly, or it could just be your body getting ready. I had the same a few days before but it went off.

It might be pre stages, but honestly if you need to ask whether it is your labour starting, it most likely isn’t! Sounds cliche but you will definitely know when you’re in labour.

This is what happened to me. A few days later I went in to labour 2 weeks early. Same with my son too. I was nearly 4 weeks early. Good luck x
