Start of labour

I am 40weeks+3 and I am pretty sure I had my show this morning. I have had a few sharp period pain type feelings is this the start of labour ?

Could well be... your show is pretty obvious once you've had it ... honestly it's like a lump of snot or jelly! Just take it easy have s bath and some paracetamol and wait till the pains get regular. If in doubt call the midwife triage

Could be. I lost mine a couple of weeks ago and had cramping but then nothing ( at 36.5)

It sound like you are early labour which is not fully started. How often you getting the cramps. It should be every 3 mins for 1H you can ring In but if is not best advice wait. Take warn bath, walk or exercise will help. Becz I had same symptoms as you with my little one.

This has been me too had them the other day with loose bowel movements then again today but pain is worse just nasty dull period type pains around my back and stomach and the urge to keep going the loo just dunno wether I’m coming or going at the minute xx

You got same thing as me loose bowel movement n cramp sign of started labour but early not actual. I would say do exercise walking round house not house might help to broke your water. Hopefully soonyou will have baby in your arm. Best feeling ever good luck.

My daughter had a bloody show last night, followed by pains for about 4 hours and then nothing.

She is 41 weeks pregnant with her 1st child.

Wondering when she is likely to give birth now after this.

I know it's been 3 years but they could have induced her. If I don't give birth Monday I only wait til 41 weeks and then I'll be induced
