Hi ladies... to those of you that have had fertility treatment.... what was the process for a second baby? As in can I just go directly back to my nhs clinic or do I see my gp first etc... even though you have embies frozen? 😘😘

Did they offer this to you on NHS? I thought they only fund first child the rest need to paid for privately. In Manchester you basically get one cycle (failed or not) and that's it.

I had my little girl on NHS. We were allowed two fresh and two frozen but as soon as you have a child you have to pay privately for another

I think you need to find out what your local trust offers as I am sure they are different depending on where you are. We didn’t have nhs treatment but the policy for where I am I’d like Hydromermaid-1 if you have a child you have to pay x

I contacted my clinic privately and I’m waiting for a phonecall to have an appointment with the embryologist to start the frozen transfer process later in the year, as we had a baby last year we will be paying x

Hi can I ask when your planning on starting? We’re looking at dec/jan just seeing how far in advance we would have to be in touch with the clinic. Thanks xx

I was hoping for September/October time before coronavirus but not sure what the waiting lists will be like now so that’s why I contacted them early. Plus I’m not sure what the frozen transfer process is compared to fresh transfer so also want to know if there’s anymore tests we need before we start x

I've been told to go to my clinic directly to use frozen embryos. Because we had a live birth (thankfully) we now have to pay £1500 for each frozen cycle. Xx
