My little pink bundle of joy arrived on Saturday 3rd March at 8:30am weighing in at 7lb 10oz.
She entered into the world relatively quickly. My waters broke Friday at 8pm, contractions began at 11pm and we were in hospital at 3am on Saturday.
I used gas & air, then a diamorphine injection followed and just before she was born I required a little cut to help her out.
Thank you to everyone who gave me their tips and advice - this site/app has been invaluable.
All the best to all you ladies on this amazing adventure x

I was classed as a 1st time geriatric mother - age 39. It was natural but took a while for it to ‘happen’ for us. Longer than I had anticipated.
I don’t have pcos but had issues with heart, thyroid and DVT (all are immediate family conditions)

Nice hat!!

I was advised by my midwife to purchase a knitted hat for after she was born to wear in the hospital. I couldn’t one anywhere and so I was given the pink hat in the hospital. It’s something I will always treasure 😍

Ahh that's nice the hat we were given was like a sock thing haha right after both my girls were born ... guilty I kept the sock things too
