I feel so guilty for having another baby so soon. This baby was so not planned but very loved now. I just feel really sad that I can’t give my whole attention to my first born. He’s still so needy of me. & I can’t be with him like I used too. I can’t help but cry...My first born is super attached to me & even tho he loves his little brother i still feel sad 😞 any uplifting advice would much needed

Hi Edith, sorry to hear how you're feeling. You may have tried already but have you involved your older one in helping you with the baby? Even if it's to get you a nappy etc, or giving your older one a doll/teddy so they have a 'baby' too so when your feeding baby your son can feed their baby too (just an idea) perhaps when baby is sleeping use that time to spend with your son but also offer them reassurance (I'm not saying you don't) Honesty don't beat yourself up, youre doing an amazing job. We all suffer mum guilt at some point & it's so easy for us to take on every emotion. Xx

As sampb says... my little ones are 22months apart, and two and four now. They love playing together (don't get me wrong they fight too!) But it's so nice see them playing together especially now that we're in lock down they are great company to each other. It just takes some time till you get used to managing two, and for the older one to get used to the little one. It gets easier.
