What should I do?

Hi

I took a pregnancy test on Monday, being a day late according to my fertility app. It came back negative pretty much straight away so I thought nothing of it. For some reason, I felt the need to check it again the next morning, and there were 2 faint lines about the ‘positive’ as well as the other line over the clear. I’ve been feeling nauseous, I have symptoms of what I would expect if I were having a period (cramps, irritability) and my breasts are achy.

Do I test again in a few days or do I accept that it came back negative. I already have a child so know what to expect but half of me thinks I might be and the other half is in denial.

Help!

Thanks

I would test again, maybe with one of the week indicators - they say ‘pregnant’ or ‘not pregnant’ so much clearer. Good luck xx

The instructions on most tests say to disregard them, most after about 10 minutes as there is an evaporation line which will show and gives a false reading. If you've still not come on wait a few more days and try again. You might have ovulated later than you think and you app might be slightly out. I tested at 3 days late and the line was still fairly faint, but a week later was much darker and a definite positive. Good luck
