Blood clots

Hello, I got the injection last Tuesday on the 9th , I was meant to start my period the day before but didn’t. I then started it the day of my exam so Wednesday the 15th but it was very dark like old period blood. Today so after3 days of it being very dark brown it has lightened but I have had some very big blood clots which I’ve never had before. I just wandered if this meant anything or whether it’s jsut the injection kicking in x

What are you thinking it could mean?

If you’ve not had the injection before and your body is doing something different to usual it’s likely in response to having different chemicals/hormones in your body.

If you feel unwell or concerned, best to get a check up with your GP
