So here’s the situation

I had to have a knee operation a week ago today and 3/4 weeks before they told me to come off the pill (to prevent blood clots ect.) but I came off the pill halfway through a cycle and haven’t had a bleed yet. (It’s been around 5 weeks) I just want to know when I can start on the pill again too, should I wait until I bleed?

I am sexually active so this is also a worry. But use a condom each time so doesn’t seem possible but I know there’s always a risk.

Very unlikely you will be pregnant however the only way to know is to test. How long have you been on the pill for? Remember the pill is hormones so your body can take time to stabilise and get back to normal once you stop taking it.

You should really also ask your dr x

I think you can just restart whenever with the pill dont normally have to wait until a period. Probably best to pop into your family planning clinic and just ask.
