I’m just wondering I’m 6 weeks pregnant and taking folic acid tablets but if I start taking multivitamins that contains the recommend daily amount of folic acid in one tablet should I stop taking the folic acid tablet. Thanks for reading

Yes. If you are taking a pregnancy supplement it will contain enough of everything you need.
Good luck with the pregnancy!
You won't need both. Multi vits aren't necessary to be honest, & made me feel sick. Midwife told me folic acid & vit d is all that's needed, and much cheaper
