Well, happy mothers-to-be day all. We have fought so long and hard to get to this point. Just the small thing of getting through the pregnancy and actually enjoying the moments when the sun comes out and the anxiety wanes, those short moments when our happiness overflows and we start to believe. Soon we will have our little bundles of joy by our sides to cuddle (and I believe actually just getting through day to day will be achievements ha ha).
So, we have finally relented and got one of those funny chairs. They are soooooo comfortable and there are many doing the rounds second hand in Facebook etc. I am sure I will sleep many a day / night on this little beauty.
Well done on ordering some stuff, I know you’ve been anxious about it. I love my next2me but now she can grab she’s starting to try and grab my pillow when she wakes in the middle of the night 🙈😀 It’s great for just reaching over to reassure them etc. In one way I can’t wait for her to move out as I think I’ll sleep better, on the other I will miss her. Keep us updated x
I wouldn't want to buy one new when there are so many on marketplace etc. Also not really my style, but they are so comfortable so I can put up with that for a year or so definitely x
I wanted one of those but we already had a chair that would do that my husband won’t get rid of (an old chair he used for gaming 🙄) Enjoy, I’m not jealous at all 😉 x
Sorry. I was looking at chairs I would like to have. But as long as we have something comfy then that's all that matters. I am sure a gaming chair will be really comfy too x
I’m so happy for you. Your posts have given me some hope. I’m 40 and have just started my period in the 2ww so absolutely devestaed. Then I stumbled across your posts and feel better now ❤️
Oh I am so sorry to hear that. Somehow the bfns post 40 are worse. The feeling that time is running out starts to creep in. But do keep going. You will get there. Xx
