20 week scan results, help.

Had my 20 week scan 2 weeks ago but couldn’t get a clear view of heart and brain went back yesterday for these checks.

On my notes says cavum septum verge appear enlarged, suggest for a second opinion.

Have a clue what this means, or how this could affect the baby, anyone know anything about this?

I am really sorry I have no idea but did they not explain to you? I would call and ask for more information, especially if you are worried about it? Big hugs and hope all ok xx

No they never explained anything just gave me another date for a scan. Thanks. X

If you search for it on the internet there are quite a lot of pages with information, however until you get the second opinion it won’t really mean much because you don’t really know if it’s actually the case or not. So I suggest waiting to see what they say on Monday xx
