Still waiting....

I'm now over the 12 week Mark..my boss thinks I'm near on 16 weeks as I'm now obvious showing...bigger belly than normal. I'm still waiting for my first scan in the 5th dec...it's taking aaagggeeessss. I want reassurance everything is fine. I get tickly belly then pulling sensation a long with big itchy boobs so that's a positive sign. I'm just getting impatient x

Well done on getting this far 👍. You dont have long to go for reassurance. Hopefully all will be ok and you will have peace of mind🤞. Heres to a happy remaining 6 months of your pregnancy. Start enjoying it now or atleast after your scan. Do let us know how you get on xx

Thank you very much. I am hoping everything is going ok it'salways an anxious wait. Although it seems far too long as If I am further on than thought it will be too late for the screening. I did tell the midwife i feel further on than first thought but didn't say anything x

The symptoms are alot more advanced, i look about 4 months. The midwife was calculating from my last period which is fair enough but even before then i was getting symptoms and doing tests etc just having monthlys at the same time. Which is possible. X

Well hopefully you’ll find out at your scan if you are more than 14w you’ll have missed the blood tests for screening don’t think they do them later.

No they don't. That's what I'm worried about. It just seems very relaxed as if u have all the time in the world lol. Either that or me just being impatient which is likely haha 😁

Could you maybe go to a private scan to get an estimate that way you could take the scan to your midwife and ask for your dating scan to be moved forward if you need to. I think they’re around £40/£50 depending on where you live. If that’s an option for you it might be worth doing to save you worrying. Xx
