Help please - 38+4... Symtoms

Hi lovelies

I was wondering if I can pick people's brians. *warning long post sorry*

I'm currently 38+4 first time Mommy with crohn's (in remission) , I believe I had my show on Tuesday.

I went to see my midwife on Thursday [4 days ago] and she confirmed that it sounded like I did have my show, she examined my bump and she asked if I was getting pain as my bump had gone really hard which I replied no which she was quiet surprised, after a couple of minutes my bump went back to normal. She advised that he is now engaged as could only feel back of neck and shoulders... Since then my bump has continued to get tight and release all day. My partner said its like a brick but still no pain.

I do keep getting really sharp twinges in lady bits and early hours of each day for the last 4 days I have had awful stomach pain and diahorrea, yesterday I was also sick 4 times.

Little one is moving absolutely fine, but im getting really exhausted and now worried about having enough energy for the event and that my crohn's is now being affected. The consultant has advised they might not let me go over if it affect my crohn's... I really don't know what to do.

Any advice would be gratefully recieved

Xxxxxxx

Hi hun , sounds to me that your body is preparing you for birth now with going the toilet and stomach pains, the pains down below are probably your cervix stretching . Try and rest as much as possible hun and stay hydrated. I wish you all the best xx
