Confused

A little confused on to why I got a positive on the first day of my missed period which was CD30, tested on CD25 and it was negative but baby is measuring 9 days small I should of been 2 weeks (4 weeks) pregnant

Congrats on your pregnancy.

I know dates are a bit confusing at the beginning. Pregnancy weeks are measured from the first day of your period, considering most people don’t ovulate until 10-17 days why DRs take into account those weeks idk 😂

Measurements at the beginning are not very accurate so don’t worry. In my case I had a risky pregnancy and was adviced that it wouldn’t develop. As the embryo was not in the normal parameters and I was also bleeding. Everything was uncertain until I was close to 4 months pregnant when everything changed, thank God for that. Try not to overthink just relax and enjoy your pregnancy hopefully in less than 9 months you will hold your little miracle in your arms.

Btw take your pregnancy vitamins as they are important for you and the babe. X

Thank you momma!! I just knew this new due date didn’t add up with anything and I ovulated that late! Especially with getting a positive when my period was due! Maybe she’s just small!!! And you said typically women ovulated 10-17 after their period?

Also you need to consider the test sensitivity.

If you are in the UK remember that you can get free pregnancy vitamins from your local GP.
