Confused :/

I called the community midwife last Monday and was told someone would call me before last Friday, they still haven't called. I'm around 11 weeks. Has anybody else had this problem?

try again and tell them that ur 11 weeks, have u seen a midwife at all for ur booking apt? tell them u were told that someone would be in contact but haven't yet. gd luck x

I haven't had any appointments yet, I have rang them back but they just said to wait for her to ring that was on Tuesday x

hmm strange, I had my first app at 9 weeks then obviously my scan at 12 weeks, I don't rely on people calling me back, I would just keep calling x

My midwife sounds exactly like yours. Usless. Keep pestering and leaving messages, they will call you back soon hopefully. I know you shouldn't have to it is pretty bad that no one has made contact with you yet.

I finally got a call back on Saturday just gone with an appointment for the beginning or July!!!!! That seems a bit to far away ill be coming up to 16 weeks by then x

Is this for your booking in appointment with the midwife?? If so you will not be referred for a scan until you are nearly 17-18weeks which is really poor. Have you not got a midwife led unit from your hospital that you can go as a day patient save going to the community one, sounds like she is a bit over stretched to me which is a shame. My Midwife Led unit at my hosp was closed down last year which I am gutted about. If you have to wait this long for a booking appointment imagine what it would be like if heaven forbid you do have a question you want to ask her. I would be contacting the hospital if I was you.

I went through the hospital for the community midwife... Yes this is for my booking in, with my first they were really good and I had my booking in at 9 weeks but the doctor sorted it all out for me, I've changed doctors since then and my doctors now is useless, they don't do anything for you.
