Hi. Are there any self employed mums to be out there?

I am looking for advise on how to tell clients and tying to work out the best maternity plan to avoid loosing clients ultimately affecting my business.

I am hoping my husband can take some shared paternity leave but don’t know In practice how this will actually work.

If anyone has been there before or Ian further forward in planning I’d love to hear from you.

We had our first scan yesterday and are due 28th Feb.. baby all good so far!! 💖👶🏼🤗

Hi

Congratulations!

This website is really good as it has a calculator about whether you are eligible for Shared Parental Leave.

gov.uk/shared-parental-leav...

I was self employed during pregnancy (I stopped as I didn’t earn much and we were better off).

Hope the info helps. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x
