Hi please can someone help me becouse the hospital have not been that good with me. Last week I had a miscarriage for the second time . Before times have be so different for me. But today I went to the early pregnancy unit for a check up which I never had last time . But when I went today they did test on me and they sed I have got an infection. They have give me some antibiotics but they not explained anouth to me about it like how this has happened . So when I got home I went on Google yeah I no you should not Google stuff but it was my only way to find out what this was . So on Google it says medical emergency, with prompt treatment a necessity. People with this condition are routinely hospitalized. Ok so why was I allowed to go home I don't get it. I don't get it the hospital have been no help to me not even give anything to read about it so in away had no choice to go on Google but now I am worried because it even says this Even with the best treatment, death can still occur. I could jut be being silly but I going few so much and you would expect the hospital to be good help but no I no they see this all time but how do they no I have a family and friends who will be there for me. I would not which for anyone to go few anything like this . There not anouth help out there. thanks if anyone can help me

Hi Hun sorry about your loss , I’ve been there it’s hard my lovely but makes it worse when you don’t get the help and support needed by the medical team.

An infection might be some of the tissue still left inside of you , did you have a natural miscarriage or an operation?

How long you got to take antibiotics for?? Xx

I know some people have had to take antibiotics because not all the tissue has came away, some also go and have a operation to clear it all away. If your not happy Hunni with the procedure go back to the hospital or gp for more answers s if you want or take your antibiotics for 10 days and request your seen again to make sure all infection has gone. I am sorry Hunni xx

Don't be sorry and thanks and going to keep taking my antibiotics then if I am still not happy going to go back and want something doing . They don't care I no they see it all time but they need to be more caring for those who had a miscarriage be a different story if it was them going few if they would want people to help them and be there . But thanks

I'm so sorry for your loss, and that the hospital have not fully explained the situation to you- it's a scary time.

If the hospital had any concerns about your wellbeing, they would have kept you in. Google can be a scary place (I found myself Googling everything during my miscarriage and it was terrifying!).

Like Sisi14 said, it could be that some of the 'tissue' is still there- I think this can be fairly common. I would say that if you're not happy, or would like them to give you more information, give the hospital or your GP a call for advice. I'm sure they will be happy to explain and reassure you. Don't feel you have to sit and suffer in silence.

Wishing you a speedy recovery at this difficult time. Look after yourself x

I'm not sure what you are asking. You don't have to be hospitalised for a miscarriage unless there is something left in the uterus or stuck in cervix or if you bleed too much.

The infection might be STD, URINE INFECTION, Bacterial vaginosis or maybe from retained products in uterus. Hospital staff should have explained everything clearly
