If you have tested and it is positive then you are pregnant and implantation has occured. Why are you worried?

I’m so worried because I don’t know what to expect or where to get advice iv looked online and everything is telling me silly stuff and surely I can go to the doctors at 2 weeks? I’d just like to know what to expect in the next few weeks, thank you so so much for your reply it’s much appreciated x

First of all congratulations. Get a appointment at your gps they’ll get you a midwife appointment around 8weeks they take blood pressure, blood ,weight ask you whe your last period was . Then you’ll get your own folder and they’ll get the ball rolling start with your pregnancy vitamins too. Your first scan with be around 12weeks 😀

Don’t worry about things your body is a amazing thing xx

The docs don’t see you Hun sorry should of be more clear you ring the gps to get a appointment with the midwife. Tell the receptionist your pregnant tell them how far you think you are then they tell you when’s best to get booked in or the midwife will ring you to arrange xx it’s so exciting I’ve got two girls 15 and 5 and one on the way and I still get nervous excited and worried that’s all normal 😂xx

Hi Georgiaaaa, I felt like this too even though im on my third pregnancy, my youngest is 8 now so I couldn't remember at how many weeks your first midwife appointment is. I rang my GP surgery when I was four weeks pregnant because they count your pregnancy from the first day of your last period. So Im guessing you are four weeks pregnant. The midwife rang me quite quickly to book me in for my first appointment which was when I was 7 weeks. She weighed me, took blood tests and discussed lots of things about pregnancy, which hospital i would like to be under...things like that. Like others have said, you get your pregnancy record that you take to all appointments with you too. She will book you for your 12 week scan:) and the hospital will write to you about when this will be, this is your dating scan. Then you have a more detailed scan at 20 weeks. Try to relax and enjoy it, take folic acid, or a good prenatal multi vitamin and try to eat well, your first midwife app will be here before you know it! Im 14 weeks now and cant wait for my 20 week scan. Congratulations and hope all goes well with your pregnancy x
